| Saints new ground looks awesome and Salford looks very good aswell. It's great for superleague to have all these new grounds.
Now if only the Yorkshire clubs could pull their fingers out.....

I don't think it does, I think there are similarities between LSV and Wire, but Saints and Salfords look fairly unique.

| I actually saw both stadiums over the weekend and, though Salfords new ground does look like it will be a good one, the Saints ground is way ahead.
I have to ask one thing though. Isnt Salfords new ground REALLY far from the Willows? (I believe someone once told me most Salford fans walk from nearby homes)

| Salfords crowds couldn't get much worse to be fair and maybe if that is true and alot come from nearby homes it's been part of the problem. The Willows is hidden away to a degree and that's one thing you certainly can't say about the new one!

I suppose thats a point. If I was in the marketing department at Salford I'd be preaching to those that are waiting to be United season ticket holders and cant get in. "Come try this while you wait. You might like it. Special Prices for those on the Man Utd waiting list" etc etc
If you cant beat em then discount heavily and get em to join you.

Don't think United have a waiting list anymore with crowds dropping slightly.
I take your point though. To me Salford need to get good deals on for families and kids. It always strikes me at Salford that the crowd is mainly made up of blokes aged 30+ and there seems to be very few kids or women.
That needs to change and with good facilities now there's no reason why it shouldn't.

Ah I thought they still did. Be the amount in costs and current "economic climate" but they do need get some good family deals on though because the new stadium will end up crippling the team if they dont get enough on.

| Not a new ground but I thought the new stand at Catalans looked superb.
Seemed to help create a great atmosphere for the game.
When they get the third stand built it will be a very impressive ground.

They do, but not many left on it at the moment. I like your idea Hula, very smart. one thing though, is it is quite difficult to get the die hard football types to watch rl, never mind pay for it. Unfortunately, because some of the football fans that posess that angry side, would much prefer to watch the players bash the proverbials out of one another rather than dying.
