| Not for a minute do I believe this to be true. But in the event it was, I wouldn't be a happy bunny.
Let's just give it to Wane, and be done with it. He deserves it IMO.
Why would we want Morgan to lead us in a direction that he's been preaching at KR, that clearly hasn't been as successful as the one Madge brought to us.

| Morgan would represent a definite step down from Maguire. Wane is probably not as good either, but at least having spent two years working with Madge he might be in a position to continue in the same manner and keep the club going in the right direction.
Justin Morgan has been in the same place for too long and I'd be surprised if he has learnt much in terms of coaching over the last few years. At least Wane has been learning from someone with fresh ideas and who has been called the best coach they've played under by some of the most experienced players at the club.

Dobson, Briscoe, Fox, Webster, Newton, Vella, Gallea, Clinton etc all have been top players for Hull KR and if I'm not wrong he signed all of them?
Btw there are plenty of players I'd sign from RU who would be huge in RL'"
All of which have won what with HKR?

Doesn't mean they're not good players though does it?
Back to the original question in hand, I'm not overly keen on Morgan stepping in although it does depend in what capacity.

What's your point?
Not every team can win trophies. Just because you haven't got a winners medal round your neck doesn't mean you aren't a good player or haven't been a good signing.
At the end of the day do you not agree the above named players have been good signings for Hull KR? Who else should they have signed?

So has Agar and both have won the same amount. Maybe we should go for Agar.

I'll be honest with you, I don't think Richard Agar has made any good signings for Hull KR

I guess you've gotta get them performing as well.
For me Morgan has squeezed the best out of his lads & Agar hasn't.
Again I'm not saying he should be the head coach here but, IMO, he'd make a decent director of rugby as he's got an eye for talent.
It's Wane's turn for the top job and he's more than earned a crack. For me it's all about getting the right guys/supporting cast round him.
I'd still be very interested in Tony Rea as a number 2. I don't know why IL hadn't already snapped him up seeing he's out of work and they seem to have a good previous relationship.

I dont like the director of rugby role. you have to have faith in the head coach.
