I only seen it once and on that look thought it was a try, may think different if i watched it again.

It was a try,he got downward pressure on it,all the comentators agreed on it and thats a rareity in itself.It was replayed lots of times and at no point did it look like is wasnt a try

At the very least it was a 50-50 call. I've seen video refs take ages agonising over far more clear-cut 'tries' than that one.

i watched it on big screen and said NO TRY..GROUNDED SHORT................then i looked a the clock and said give em the try anyway..they'll barely have time to kick the goal before full time..................i was jokin.and gobsmacked when they gave a try
