Look simple as wigan won saints were offside all game and got away with it so I think a forward try pass is evened out by the fact that you should have given a penalty away during every single one of our sets.

So stop the sour grapes and celebrate the brilliant advert for RL that it was!

I thought we were very lucky today and overall it was a poor performance but it is still very nice to win



Saints had a lot of players missing and sufferered bad injuries during the game such as Weeler going off, a player I always thought was overated but he was absolutely fantastic today before his injury. These injuries turned the match and Saints were well on top prior to this. There is definately much to work on from a Wigan point of view and I thought our forwards would have been a lot more dominant considering the injuries that Saints had. Our pack has definately been a weakness so far this season. Also our defence on the right with Tomkins and Charnley looked particularly weak.

Both sides had ball calls made against them. But only one of such was a call on a try-scoring act. You can't return from such. A ball-steal or Deacon's mistake still give the defence chance to atone.

It seems "We were lucky" are the three hardest words to say. And yet I'm accused of not being magnanimous.

You're confusing my honest assessment of Saints' performance with my knowledge of the rules of the game. But I realise this is a difficult concept to grasp.
