I think somebody has seriously missed the point of this thread.

Yes on paper we should have beat hull fc, i dont even think hull fans could argue with that.

it was the game its self, Hull made a game of it (and i have to say so did ganson, who seemed to have lost his whistle for the first 60 mins when it came to pens for wigan, then IMO was bias towards wigan in the last 20). the thread could have been called 'what a game'. It was a great win because of the way it was won, not who it was against.

Shame Joel had to show bit of petulance again but sounds like Ganson didn't do a lot to stop the attacks on Sam's earlier in the game and once the fight had happened, he should of sinbinned them both

Thought as much. Bloody stupid of Joel, without that we had 13 men and a set on their line. Ganson seemed to bottle it today, thought a couple of hull players should have seen yellow. In the end it boiled over a couple of times. Hull defended well I thought and Obst seems a good signing, made a lot of yards in the first half I think. But we looked clueless when Deacon went off, i think we need to look at sam moving to the halves next week, but who would play fullback, is roberts still not fit? Saying that a win is a win, we'll have to change things for next week, but it's not panic stations.

Really missing Richard's kicking now. Deacon is good but doesn't seem to be able to stay on the pitch.
