My sky had picked up the series link from the regular season and carried it to this, am I right in thinking it will go straight onto the other half of the game or do I need to remember to set it up manually later?

It should do but just record both to make sure?

Reference the K-O, the Radio Times has the prog starting at 5.15 with the K-O at 5.20.

The RFL site has the K-O at 18:00 ... even allowing for that being the correct time over there, the kick off wouldn't be 5.20 or 5.30 here

... as you say the marketing / publicity for this leaves a lot to be desired.

I'll go with 5.20 ... if it's 5.30 no big deal.

That'll be it. I'm going off Ticketek which says 5:30pm local, usually the best source off my experience. It definetly isn't 6am here/6pm there because Sky New Zealand go off air at 9:30pm and you'd struggle to get 2 games in in 3 and a half hours.

The same problem Bilko picked up also applies to Virgin+ so be careful if you have either box.

i'll catch the highlights

unlike me who'll be rising bright and early at 5:15 for the game. Regardless of what time it starts. I'll miss the second half though, i'll be alseep on the downstaris sofa.

It's down as 2 separate programmes because ( amazingly ) up to 5.30 am is still regarded as "late Friday night" viewing. Saturday morning only starts at 6.00am. This also happens with some magazine/newspaper TV pages.
