Unless any injuries are picked up in training this week (touch wood)then i see no reason whatsoever why it won't be the same 17 as against Leeds it has to be simple as that.

My one change would be to bring Amos Roberts in for McIlorum. We have a ready-made replacement for Piggy in Tommy L, and not having a back on the bench means we lack pace if one of the backs gets injured.

faasavalu played in 4 10min spells in the under 20s on Saturday he din not look 100% and was quite easily stopped most of the time by the youngsters.

When Feka takes the ball in all the defenders are quick in on him to stop his momentum, if he spins before the line and does a runaround with Sam running behind Feka that would work wonders on Saturday.

Personally I think we should have Feka in the team for the final but only bring him on in the second half to do a big stint. A fresh feka on a tired saints team.

No sense whatsoever in that IMO.
McIlorum had one of his better games on Saturday, and the last thing we want to do in a final is disrupt a team that was almost perfectly drilled 7 days earlier.
Same 17 for me. |
