| 1. Sam Tomkins- his ability to take a line on shows why he could become a devastating full back. Although his positioning defensive wise was a bit dodgy, he produced a couple of sintilating runs.
2. Fielden- This guy is turning into a machine this year, needed to step up yesterday with coley being out and he did. He is leading by example and if I was lenegan I would be knocking his door down trying to get him signed up to a new contract.
3. McIllorum- He's been fantastic these last few weeks has macca. One thing Ive noticed over the last couple of weeks is that he is willing to take the line on more, he seems to be working on that attacking part of his game and he could become one of the best hookers in the country.

As good as Sam was in attack, he's not suited to Full Back yet, his positioning was off quite a few times.

And yet the the only major mistake made at full-back on Saturday was the dropping of the ball from the kick - by Pat.
Sam looked perfectly happy and in control to me at FB, and some of his tackling (especially the back-to-back marker tackles) were superb.

| Sam - showed how dangerous he is when he has a bit of room to run from fullback. I think Amos should return to full back when fit, but he is a very good option if needed (and if we were to somehow discover another half back option.....)
Fielden - apart from 1 mistake he put in a great effort - gained ground on most runs, made a a try, and his usual great stint in defence
Tommy - thought he took on lots more responsibility in the middle to make up for sam not being there
Credit to prescott and MM too - thought they played very well.

I hope thats also Joel's only off game for the rest of the season, one of them days when nothing came off for him. Tough to miss out Liam Farrell who once again is showing why he is highly rated.

Don't get me wrong, he played better than Mathers did for 12 months, but I'm not convinced he's got the defensive positioning yet that you need to play there. His tackling was good, but there were a few times when Quins kicked that he was caught out a bit IMO.

Logan, I know you love your brothers but Joel for m.o.m. is stretching it a little too far.
