TEN THOUSAND CAPACITY???!!!
ANd all because the cricket is playing on the same day. In that case, Leeds should be compelled to either offer to play the game at Wigan, or move to another venue, for instance, Elland Road. Leeds United are out of season now, so it shouldn't be a problem.
But 10k for a big CC game between RL's two biggest clubs, and one that's going to be on the TV? What a joke.

Yes it's not great
But realistically I don't think there would have been too many more than 10,000 on anyway - challenge cup games don't pull in the crowds.

You're right - no chance at all. I'm pretty sure the last cup game against Leeds at Headingley was somewhere around the 10k mark.
That being said, this move makes the Leeds club and the game look amateurish and second rate. |

I guess it's only a Saturday afternoon game because BBC selected it for coverage? Otherwise, Friday 8pm made more sense to me - would've avoided any clash at all with the cricket next door.
