Sorry, I've not read all of this thread, but does anyone actually believe that Huddersfield will be 'resting' players? No doubt, these players who are supposed to be missing will still appear in the squad for Sunday, and then it will only be supposition that they aren't playing.

Given Wigan's alarming ability to completely switch off if they think the opposition is easy, this could just be a very astute form of mental warfare by Nathan Brown.

Both players will not be in the squad on sunday. Both are carrying knocks. It's as simple as that. Nathan Brown is not someone who plays mind games

Listen, no criticism is intended. Mind games are a part of modern sport.

If there's any criticism, it's aimed at Wigan for hitting the 'off' switch too quickly whenever they expect an easy ride.

You guys are like us in that respect.

But it's a good position to be in, having a large and efficient squad.

Only in the last year or so have we done the same thing. A couple of years ago having a very small squad almost saw us relegated.

Interesting that Wire have no Matt King and Paul Wood in there 19 man squad to face Salford. Smith wants them to shake of minor knocks for challenge cup game.

Jerry is not so much quick as very powerful and pretty compact, but not small. He is a bit raw skill wise and I would expect him to be tested a lot if he plays, if he gets some space to run in broken field play he is a threat though.
