Bolton usually fill 75% and sell it out if its a Saturday. To say Bolton have a similar following to Latics is just wrong

Man Utd, City occasionally, Liverpool, Everton, Aston Villa and Spurs.
Newcastle were usually there or there abouts and so are Arsenal.
Latics average around 14k home fans throughout the season.

Sounds about right, though I think they got more in their first season up. Since then, it's been hovering around 18-19k total, I think, though I read somewhere that this season is their lowest yet, with just the Hull game to go.

| It was on cockneyliar a few months back that the average away att was around 3800-4000 so the 14K home fans would be about right. Now take into account the 2K 'Big Ticket' freebies given away EVERY home game and the home att would hover around 12-12.5k.
If you take into account our average away att this season so far (Crusaders 20, HKR 800, Catalans 0, Hull FC 2100, Leeds 1100, Wakefield 600, Harlequins 10 and average of 661) takes our home average to around 14K. Now the only FREE tickets that the club have given that I am aware of are 500 to the army, all other tickets have been paid for.

Our average (at the moment stands at) - 14,894
Should we achieve 25K for both the Wire & Stains derby matches (can't see why not), plus a very conservative 14.5K for the remaining home matches - Cas, Salford, Hudds & Bradford then our average would finish at a very respectable 16,328.

| I'm not sure I liked it as much on Friday, there seemed to be loads of people who were only there because we're doing well. You could tell who they were because they left about ten minutes from the end and probably won't be back for the next home game. I much prefer a Saturday in the away end at Cas with the die hards.

Category 1 fan alert!
I know what you mean, though I'd much prefer a Saturday in the away end at Catalans with the die hards (not that with a 9 month old baby there's much chance of the Mrs giving me a pass to go to France for the weekend...). Category Z fan at the moment, only home matches and the odd Lancashire away game for me this season... I don't know if there's an "under the thumb" smilie, but just imagine I finished this post with one...
