Indeed. About half way down near the ladders. I remember a bald bloke wrestling with a few stewards. I couldn't tell whether he was after another supporter or a steward. After reading that article it was evidently a steward.

I will ask a few of the people around me if they can remember anything else that might be of any use.

Thinking about it the stewards never came into the stand during that they werent bothered until there was "Noise pollution" from people banging on the corrugated iron at the back.

I've only been going for about 4 years ( I'm 20 and Dad's not really a Rugby fan so had to wait until I could afford to go myself) but in those years I've never seen any trouble until the Semi last year and now its been twice this season. Once that by those idiots in Warrington (know anything about that? any updates etc?) and now this. Where are these idiots coming from?

I saw the incident as well. There were two stewards around one guy who had black hair and he wasn't a young lad. Looked more an older bloke to me. Can't say I had a good look though because your focus gets attracted to the two high viz jackets than anyone else and my emotions were a bit wound up anyway after my own personal tragedy last week.

As for youngsters causing problems at games, they will eventually be whittled out. Certainly on away trips anyway, because they will find that no coach will offer to take them to games.

got a few glances but thats all really as i was trying to enjoy the match. although a bit hard to ignore somebody pi$$ing in a pint pot and spilling it everywhere. these were also the group of people shouting "get your d!ck out" and "i can suck myself off" if any of you heard them.

Already this season we have re-attracted some idiots/chavs call them what you like. These are more than likely the same fans who where fighting with each other after the Bradford game.

And more than likely the same ones who where signing Adam Watene songs at yesterdays game.

Unfortunately a little success seems to bring the scum out. It seems to be a problem across the board lately not just at wigan and wire. I hope its stamped out soon.
