| Made a lovely break on for Wellens to get his hand to a certain try.

Think he was put in the gap by Joel?
The increase in JT's handling is more down to him being the best ball handling back row forward with Lockers and Hock out, if you remember both of them had poor ball retention until they got a bit of game time in that role.
Thats the way I read it, JT as now got more responsability to make things happen.
Although I like what I've seen with Flanagan he has not much first team game time behind him(why?) think you have to go with JT in as much as if Lockers pulls up we have nothing of a threat from the back row..... again Flanagan could be the answer but because he has been left too long in the reserves we dont know.

He still hit the gap though unlike most of our forwards who try to steamroll people.

Yes he did . He was still put in the gap by fast hands that our other forwards haven't got

Doesn't matter though cos Warrington can put a team of players out that man for man are better than us and should be able to beat us easy.
Well......if you read the Wire board.

| I'd go with:
FB 21 Phelps
RW 2 Roberts
RC 22 Gleeson
LC 4 Carmont
LW 5 Richards
SO 25 Sam
SH 7 Leuluai
P 15 Coley
H 9 Riddell
P 19 Prescott
SR 14 Joel
SR 16 Hansen
LF 13 O'Loughlin
S 10 Paleaaesina
S 12 Bailey
S 24 Mossop
S 26 Flanagan (used at loose forward with O'Loughlin shifting to stand off)
If Bailey's still injured I'd bring in Fielden, I just couldn't justify giving him a spot ahead of anyone else in that 17.
My thinking is that Lockers might not be 100% so giving him a couple of stints at stand off might ease some of the strain placed on him, while still making sure he plays 80 mins. He's been attacking really well this season so I'm sure he won't have any problems playing there. Plus this allows us to bring on Flanagan at loose, who will shore up the defence when legs start to tire. Having two strong defensive players on could be a massive asset for us considering Warrington's size.
Mossop at prop is a far more tricky decision. Giving him his debut at prop against a big side in a big game is very risky, but I'd rather have an in form young lad there than an older player who can't take a good drive. All Fielden does is tackle, and I think we'll be alright for defence with Hansen, Bailey, Lockers, Flanagan and Mossop all running out there.
