thought sam was nothing short of class both in attack and defence, phelps was as safe as houses in defence and gained some good yardage, lockers was superb all round and would of been in number 2 slot if he'd of finished the game all round good performance from all in cherry and white. if there was a 4th spot would have to be fielden think this is the first game ive seen him play without a penalty given away or a knock on well played stuart

thats what fieldens career has come down to, he has a good game when he doesn't give away stupid penalties.

Still didn't make any metres in attack, great in defence but we still had little penetration from the props.

Poor Wigan player was Pat Richards for his goal kicking and getting out jumped for their first try. Good job he's not Ainscough.

They weren't as good as they are meant to be because Wigan didn't let them play and because that idiot got sent off.

I thought Joel Tomkins had his best game for a while and put in as lot of hard work tonight. Sam just shades it off TL because I thought his kicking game was spot on.

Bailey was by far the stand out player IMO last night! Was involved in almost every try, defended fantastic (as usual) and did a lot of talking & organising!

Phelps continued his great form at FB and is surely going to be given the number 1 shirt next season! Solid under the high ball, good positioning & kick return and gets involved in the attacks with his linking and support play!

Riddell was a vast improvement on his recent displays! Solid defence, good dummy half running, strong passing game & took his try well!

All in all a great night for Wigan! Only downside was the injuries to Micky Mc and Lockers! Hope they're not too serious!
