Why daft blog?

Well to me taking a letter from a fan in a RL paper (one that most would probably agree is a pretty stupid one at that!) and turning into a blog strikes me as almost some sort of desperation for anything to write about.

That's what blogs are all about though...taking anything in your subject matter and bringing it to the attention of others. I thought it was funny and a good way to lead into the Sam Tomkins thing.

Anybody with Cherry and White blood running through their veins would never contemplate defecting to the other side! OK, so Saints have been successful in recent seasons (Whoopy do!) but I firmly believe that despite Wigan's current choppy form that things are on the turn. Saints status at the top won't continue forever with ageing stars hanging on, and Wigan are steadily building for future success. The 5 year contract agreed with Sam Tompkins must warm the heart of any true Wiganer. The lad is going to be a true star at the heart of a resurgent Wigan team in years to come. The Reserves and Academy teams are running high and so Wigan must be doing something right behind the scenes. I am sure that all other clubs must envy that sort of foundation.

Whereas I agree about your not changing clubs point I think this is very much grasping at straws and I doubt anyone could for a second say that Saints aren't building for the future aswell.
