If we have 8k season tickets and everyone has a number each then thats over 400k a year and some might take more than 1. I have upped mine to 3 recently. If there was a big push on it and willingness then it could amount to a mega amount of cash. If we could get 10k wigan fans have 2 a week. A million quid goes a long way.

I have season tickets for myself and two grandkids and don't want any refund if it helps the club.I considered the lotto after IL s letter but as the lotto supports the academy and we are losing our best prospects ie sutton, Williams ,Gildardt, Rushton and possibly Smithies and Partington would I be helping wigan or teams in theNRL

You decide eh. You seem to know the answer to everything else.

That is a bizarre way of looking at it to be honest but you are certainly entitled to look at it that way. What i would say is that money for everything comes out of the same pot which is IFL’s pocket to fund the shortfall year by year. As i have said before and it is probably getting a bit boring, there are 2 options.

1. Carry on as we are and produce players good enough to attract interest from the nrl which means we have a successful side.

2. Stop producing good kids and end up with a mediocre side?

I know which i want, hope this helps in your dilemma as to wether to join the £1 a week lottery which like i say is a great and easy way for the club to generate some big big money at minimum cost to individuals and a chance of winning something back.

In the case of Rushton, I find it rather strange that a any Aussie club should be giving a three year contract to any player when the player has never played any first team games and there are Academy players at Wigan and indeed other club's who are just as good and even played a first team game.

If there is, then please let us know (even if you dont tell us what it is I'd just be happy to know, that you know, that theres some mysterious conspiracy as to why it happened, because I think your trying to plant a seed in peoples mind).

If you dont, then please let the rest of us get on with accepting that maybe, just maybe, theyve done their homework on the guy and fancy his prospects more than they do other players through, you know, statistical analysis, good scouting etc, and that theb player himself was tempted and wanted to go.

Thats fine, if Wigan only want sponmsors that agree with abolishing the Police and a marxist take over of the UK then thats their choice but my point still stands that it could turn sponsors away.
