No they couldnt, what about the sponsors? Plus every player needs 2 shirts. What shorts, socks would you have? Also there would need to be a square at the back of the shirt to make numbers visible, meaning the club would have to order special shirts, specially made for each individual player. |

With planning I'm sure they could have printed the sponsor's name on the shirts and some squares on the back. Would they need to change the socks? I'd go with white shorts myself, similar to the training shorts I bought from the club.
Failing that we could have ordered a one off special kit then auctioned it off for charity after the game. |

It would take months of planning and preparation. Plus the "printed sponsors" you say would have to be ordered from the said sponsor and would have to be the right size for a different design of shirt. Then they would have to get clearance from the sponsors and the RFL to play in that particular kit. |
