personally im not one bit bothered about the lease to the stadium, at the end of the day nothing much is changing at all, dave whelan is owner of latics so its pretty much their ground anyway, but dont worry when they end up in league 1 they will be back where they belong.

Isn't this just a way of DW borrowing money for Latics to fund the transfers apparently promised to their new manager against the value of the stadium, thus saving DW dipping into his own pocket to do it?

I am not to bothered about all this, Latics will be relegated a few divisions eventually, not saying that because I hate latics I just think it will happen.

This will annoy Whelan more than anything.
Lets never see - - stadium used on this site ever again and sod him.

This must have been coming for some time handing the stadium back to the people of wigan like he has already promised and naming a stand after 1 if not the best ever player to pull on a wigan shirt was just a sweetner.

there are two badges either side of the 'ticket office' sign.
One, a very colourful, 3d wigan athletic badge looking very professional. And on the other side, a piece of flat plastic, celotaped on with a wigan badge on. (possibly in felt tip  ) |
