Poor Wire fan, embarassing his club and set of fans with complete nonsense. Would love to know what season Wigan were the only fully pro side in the league mate? Wire/Saints fans are the RL version of man city fans forever tryin to change history to make their own clubs look better.

Wire are playing some awesome rugby and we look a little flat/tired. However the game is not for another nine weeks. At which point we will be boosted by the return of Stuart Fielden and Gareth Hock. We will have to raise our game by that point. I will also be interested to see whether Wire can maintain the form they are in.'"
noooo i think every dog has its day, we dont fear anybody inc dire, we are defo not the underdog in this cup round and beleive me they will be worrying without a dout,

| Harsh, honest reality - Warrington are the one team over the last couple of years who have had our number. From the games between the 2009 semi to the home fixture this season they have shown up as the better side in those games. Even in the one we won last year in round 3, we were second best for 65 minutes.
I'm not unhappy with the draw as like others have said, you have to beat the top sides at some stage. I also like others feel the away tie suits us.
It goes without saying we'll have to build our form leading up to it but we have time to do that. In my opinion to win against Warrington, we need to significantly raise the level of aggression and intensity in the forwards. Hopefully Hock and Fielden may help with that but everyone will have to step up - we've been well beaten by the Wire lads in that area in past games.

| The past few seasons its meant more to warrington for them to beat us than it has for us to beat them, and thats been shown in the effort and passion they put into those games and the lack of effort and passion we seem to (compared to them, im not saying we dont go in without any effort or passion whatsoever)
When we beat them last year at their place there was drive for us to win there because we had never won there in a competitive match before, we need to find that drive again and treat it as if we are playing Saints, this is a very important game.

Spot on, totally agree.
They've out muscled us each and every time. Like you say a rise in aggression levels and intensity in defense and when taking the ball up will be much needed. Do that and the game's evenly matched.

Maybe that but I think they have been the only side really to expose the fact that our kicking game close to the try line is pretty garbage. It improves when Deacon plays but still not to the standard of Warrington.

No. Any sensible RL fan will hope that no club ever wins a major trophy eight years in a row - or even four or five years, come to that. Long-term monopolisation of the honours damages the game.

| Noticed this topic lasted 7 pages until some numbnuts derailed it momentarily. Impressive.
As for the game, wow, its going to be immense. I imagine in Maguire's farewell season your players will lift for this one, and we will have to be at our very best if we're to win.
Can't wait. As for a winner ..... flip a coin!

If you can't tell the difference between honours being shared around and one club dominating to the detriment of all others and the sport as a whole then you need to take a second look at your interest in this game. No 'smiley' needed.
