True you could be really lucky and avoid the likes of Leeds and Saints.

An easy draw would of been better don't get me wrong but we won it last year having to beat Hull KR away Wigan and then Hudds its a very hard draw but if we want to keep hold of the Cup we need to be able to beat anyone.

i went watching Widnes vs St.Judes in the 3rd round. i think they best they had were the on or two strong runners coming off the short balls so i can definetley see us in th'hat for the next round. i just wished it was at DW

Forgive me if I am being thick, but have Widnes and this French side played yet? Or do we not know who we are defo playing yet?

Given the numbers that normally attend cup matches in recent years I think the crowd and the atmosphere will probably be better with the tie at Widnes rather than at the DW. (Should Widnes beat Lezignan that is)

TBH - Widnes should get the boot for making no effort to get to the game against St Judes played.

Every other team, travelling in either direction, got themselves sorted.

St Judes should *not* be penalised for the Chesire team's inability to get their act together.

I really hope we get past Lezignan now, would love to see a decent croud at Widnes to prove we can attract large attendances!

We've still got time to recall all our dual reg/loan players, and loan them to Lezignan for a week or two...

What? In a one off cup game against Wigan, i'm sure all the other clubs going for a Franchise yourselves, Leigh, Fax, Barrow etc could prove that they can attract large attendances against Wigan! Proving you can attract large attendances is being able to do it week in week out, in fairness to Widnes your crowds are good.

As for the cup tie, I reckon Wigan will batter whichever team they play in the next round.
