You blame the salary cap, so I will ask you the question again, that you have already dodged once. You call us a medium sized club, who to you are the other medium sized clubs? |

How much was the salary cap in 96 when we won the double and kickstarted the most successful period in our history? Any idea?
What about 1999 and 2000 when we won back to back titles? How much was it then? |

Once again, Kick our asses by 4 points? Take a step back from the bitterness you obviously hold and have a look at what your saying. Yes, we lost and Bradford deserved their win, but it certainly wasn't an ass kicking, and it certainly wouldn't mean we were dross. |

I don't blame you for being angry.
It must hurt to know that the primary reason for your teams success was a rule brought in by the RFL rather than footballing excellence.
Not youir fault, but the reality is that all those victories ring a very hollow note.
It's akin to a CC being brought in to Soccer, Aston Villa doing well in it, then claiming to be a bigger club than Man Utd. |

You consider all them to be Medium sized clubs? Therefore I will ask you the question. If as you say, the salary cap is the Primary reason a "Medium sized" Club liks us have won so much, then why haven't the others also acheived this? |

You must be the most bitter person in wigan. I'm no fan of the SC in its current form, but surely you can see that unlimited spending almost destroyed your club?
Also the bigger club depends heavily on how you measure it.
Saints have over 20% higher turnover than Wigan, so does that make us "bigger"?
Wigan have more Season ticket holders does that make you "bigger"?
You can't really pick between our academy and reserve teams, so nothing there.
What measure do you use? |
