3076_1671446335.jpg SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS
For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.
For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.
Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_3076.jpg |

| It must be great owning your own stadium. Saints have just announced a £690K loss for 2017, which means they've lost around £5 million since they moved into their new stadium.

Must be nice to have your pitch paid for by Man Utd though, the new playing surface is lush.

However, a number of electrons were mildly inconvenienced.

Huh?
I agree that the new surface is great, but I don't get your point at all.
(And you'd think that Leigh would have one of the best pitches in any league, given the amount of manure that goes on it every other week)

| What’s not to get?
The new pitch is paid for by Manchester Utd Football Club.
(Unless I am wrong?)

3 times, the last being when St. Helens visited last season. Never required when the Pies were in town.

The other three won’t be required by Leigh soon

There's your problem in a nutshell. Endless numbers of quality players and coaches at Leigh have been let down when the people of Leigh have failed to turn up.
To be given use of a hi-tech stadium like the LSV and the locals still not to turn up is appalling.
The fault lies with no one but Leythers themselves.

| We're 2nd in the league at the business end of the season, and Leigh look like they won't even make the qualifiers. Not too interested in kicking them when they're going through a tough time to be honest. One less team with SL ambitions is bad for the game.

Just over 3K today for a "must win" fixture.

And about 27 Sheffield fans (including Keith Senior).
Terrific performance from Dawson.

I think you'll find it was a "we've already fecked it" game, along with the owner previously stating he was throwing the towel in
So just a tadge off with your assessment

| No. At kick-off, Leigh were in a position where they could get into the top 4 with a big win against Sheffield and a defeat for either London or Halifax.
The fact that the Chairman had chucked the towel in, the players laboured to a scrappy win and the public couldn't be ar$ed to turn out and support their club tell everyone that they don't deserve a club at all.

And the odds on those defeats were what exactly - we knew exactly what the situation was
What was Halifax's crowd the week before against Toulouse - now that was a must win game, do there fans not deserve a club, or London, Fev, Batley etc etc etc or are you to far up your ivory towers to see what's going on below you
