Was basically forced out as many of the first team squad weren't happy with his appoimtment and refused to work with him. Wane told him he wasn't to have any involvement with the first team squad, he wasn't happy with this so demanded talks with lenegan and rads who obviously sided with Wane. Quite unprofessional from the club if you ask me.

I saw Longy up at Orrell chatting to Deacs in the stand before the last U19s fixture up there.

Told us what exactly??? You have absoulutely no idea why he has left the club. Theres people on here as per usual sticking the boot in with no facts.

When I first saw the bit about a disciplined club in the statement about Longs departure and it alluding to a reason why he has gone. Should have been a surprise but it is far from that in his case.

My only concern is whoever thought this was a good idea is still at the club. Strangest bit of recruitment since the Millward era.
