think its time for the club to get their business done, ins and outs, and give wane the time to regenerate the side. there are going to be personnel changes, with or without joel, so its important we dont do an nal and fanny about with signings right up until the last minute. sign early, shut the doors, get training.

Good interviews but I have to disagree with 1 point that IL made. 'we dont need wholesale changes' Having lost Deacon Coley Hoffman OCarroll Gleeson (sort of) Joel (maybe) there is a lot a quality to replace and the salary cap room to do so.

I think the reason for that may be that since Ill as been at Wigan he has said that he wants more Wigan lads in the team and I think that him and Wane have both wanted this.
A few weeks ago a lot of fans were asking why some young players could'nt be introduced, especially in matches when first or second place was guarranteed.
Maguire allways said that he would play his strongest team all the time and at the time I posted on here that maybe he was more interested in his own CV than what happens next season . Hence your feeling that Ill and Wane may have seemed a bit lukewarm.
I think next season a few young players will be introduced.

Really impressed with those interviews. Shaun Wane and Ian Lenagan fill me with so much confidence about Wigans future.

Maguire never looked fully comfortable speaking in public especially considering he's an Aussie and they normally just seem pretty natural at it.

Means little when it comes to his coaching ability.

we've been discussing something similar to this at work today and comparing RL to RU

does the RL give our players support / training so that they come across better when on TV / radio

it always seems that RL players sound thick (whether they are or not with the errrrs and ummmms)

on the other hand RU players,even ones that have crossed codes come across in the main as very articulate and comfortable in front of the cameras. I know that were getting into another debate about coverage etc, but a genuine question based on comments already on here and Shaun Wane looking / sounding very uncomfortable
