how much would it cost to redevelop Edge Hall Rod.
How many games have been moved from Wigan (DW or JJB)

The costs don't balance.
It's worth the cost to take the occasional hit.

Perhaps we should look at using Robin Park if we ever sold Edge Hall.

Don't ever think that we should sell Edge Hall if we want to keep a successful academy but you never know what will happen.

Several reasons why I cant see any real development of EHR

1. We have a long lease at the DW -which will be renewed well before the term ends
2.The cost of redevelopment far outweighs the benefits
3. Access into Orrell is poor and parking is non existent

Plenty parking at the Water Park, which is as close to the ground as the DW carparks, only 2 minutes walk.

Hi Geoff, fair point, but I cannot see that the residents of Orrell (I am not one by the way) wanting wholesale redevelopment at EHR. The future of WRLFC is at the DW and I cannot (unless a multi millionaire with much deeper pockets than IL shows up) see it being any different

I agree, although some "tarting up" would be nice.

Is the development of the ground for rugby or of the site ie housing? the DW relationship in it's presant form does not help us, despite what may be said in public.

Has IL not built a new ground for his football club? who are a little less than top of the pile.

Just changing the black and amber seats to cherry and white would improve the look of the place 100%.
