It was moving when 17,000 Wiganer's all in tandem shouted "PALEAAESINA!". At one point a "Don't go to Salford!" chant broke out for a moment. I'll never be the first to point out his faults (I admit he has them), but he's just such a top, top guy and deserved the ovation he got tonight.

Feka comes across as a really nice, gentle giant and I wish him well for the future. The fans clearly have a genuine affection for the guy.
We should also not forget Bails and Piggy who have made a major contribution during their time at the club.

A thought crossed my mind tonight. Do you think refs have to prove that they are billy big bollox by showing that they have no fear about caning Wigan in the penalty count and throwing in the sin bin for extra measure.
