Ainscough was given a 3 year contract with that fast track 10 from the academy werent he?

Flanagan - Probably let him go, lots of players ahead of him in the back row and we have Phelps and Gleeson to cover for injuries to Smith and Tomkins so I don't see him getting a game there either.
Phelps - Sign on a 2 year contract
Smith - Depends whether he wants to stay from the sounds of things, would offer him a 1 year contract if he'll take it.
Coley - Let go
Pryce - Depends on how both he and Darrell Goulding play until the end of the season. Would probably give him another year to see if he picks up.

The only signing I'd make is a good prop. We need biff!

Carmont - 1 year extension
Bailey - Let go
Flanagan - 1 year extension with 1st team introduction.
Phelps - Let go
Smith - Let go
Coley - Let go
Pryce - Let go

5 players to let go, none of which have been superb. None of which would be a great loss with the signing of a quality half back and decent prop.

Carmont- 1 Year deal with the option in our favour of a second
Bailey-Release to free up cap space for more needed positions
Phelps-1 Year deal with 2nd year option
Flanagan-1 Year deal with 2nd year option and opportunity to replace Bailey
T Smith-Doesn't matter what we want as he's going

He should have, not had the hardest of careers, started quite late so he should beable too. Speed/Pace and Reactions will become his down fall, as it shows with Senior now

Aye I do, he may be 30 but it doesn't show at all IMO, probably because he's only played 5 years first team rugby. If he were more average I'd worry about him going downhill but he's one of our classier players. I think he may well take a bit less money if we give him the extra year too. Even if his age starts to show in the second year I'm sure he'd still be good as cover.
