| Quote: Odemwingie "Chuffed for H!
This second half of the season he has got right up to Hoffmans level of performance. He has developed his attacking game really well. He has always been a hitman in defence, top tackler in super league 2008.
I can see him playing his whole career at Wigan, I can't imagine him leaving, we would be daft to let him go.
I love watching the faces of guys like Hansen, Lockers, Pat, Fielden etc. who were in in 2006 for the bad times of our modern era, seeing them so happy winning games week in week out, can't help but feel they deserve it. The loyalty they have shown to the club is something to applaud, they could have probably all got deals away from the club if they wanted, Fielden could have played in the NRL, Pat could have gone back, Hansen and Lockers didn't have to plug it out in a team at the bottom of the table either.
Slightly off topic this post... but I really think it would have been tragic for a guy like H to miss out on Wigan going back to Wembley.'"
Can you imagine Madge being a ba$tard now and dropping him anyway?
Okay, maybe not.

It wouldn't of mattered if it had been Curly, Larry and Mo there was no way a Pie eater was going to miss the final.

| Knew we'd get this reaction from Wire fans. If they have watched the Sky+ playback, they will have to admit that it was a totally innocuous challenge and should never have been referred to the RFL. If they only saw the game live on TV, they would not have noticed anything - as noone else did, including Lynch who was the player tackled and the ref.
Does anyone know what the Solomona tackle was like? Was it similar to Hansen's?
Being a cynic, one wonders why it was referred. Was it to try and disrupt Wigan's preparations for a couple of days? Or was it because the RFL want as strong a Warrington team as possible for the decider on 4th September and they will now have more reason for letting Solomona off if he appeals as they have already set a precedent by finding Hansen not guilty......?
As I said, we need to know how bad Solomona's tackle was. Perhaps some trolls could post some useful information (for a change...!)
The comments on the Leeds board about Wigan owning the RFL are just nauseating - the bottom line is Hansen should never have been anywhere near the Disciplinary panel.

No- because there was nothing in the tackle, as you can see from the earlier pages everyone was literally baffeled as to why he was called up, and we were proved right.

| at least the RFL referal panel head man had the good sense to drop the citing of Sam Tomkins for an attempted bite on Syke's arm when it bounced off his chest/shoulder into his head.....lol

| Must have been something in it or he wouldn't have been cited. Anyway at least Leeds can beat you with a full team.
