20333_1393344959.gif Current thoughts - Mago out or get running up them plantations, get fit or get rid.
Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal.
Big tall strong running second rower, like a McMeekin or Sironen type back rower.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_20333.gif |

| I think the imporant thing to notice here is that he wasn't picked because he would light up the field and score more than Ainscough or another young winger he was in the side because we needed to defend against Hudds to win. He is an imposing man and a solid defender he did his job and probably stopped a couple tries being scored he earned another game give him his chance. Noone is saying he's special but at least he was solid and he even got on the scoresheet so give him his dues and stop making him another scapegoat just remember we won. If he was that bad surely they'd of got tries in on his side but i'm pretty sure they were both scored no where near him.
The extent of his coaching is ''BASH EM, JUST F*CKING BASH EM. HE'S LOW ON CONFIDENCE, BASH HIM''
He's a limited coach that won't last long term.[/quote:8f22o6ue]
....
That would make Wigan strong favourites then. With Ratchford at FB and Patton with Cronk in the halves, I think we'll do very well without Sam.[/quote:8f22o6ue]: |

| A very solid game, against one of the top 4 teams in the league. a team who could easily do the league and cup double this season. if he could play like that against all the best teams (wire, saints, hudds and leeds) then i cant see those teams making meters and scoring trys down his wing.
if he can improve his game against the smaller clubs he will score lots of trys. but atleast think about the game in context. a player playing his first game of the season against a very creative side, who are great in defence. and yet they did nothing down his wing and he made yards.
people want to have a go at him because its pryce, if you changed his name and he played exactly the same, the same people would be saying how well he helped contain hudds.

Spot on. They just want him to do badly for no real reason.

23997_1287161421.jpg
Great game of rugby league. Fantastic atmosphere, Wigan were breathtaking and dominant in all areas for the first 25 minutes, coupled with us making alot of dumb mistakes, then fortunately they brought McIlorum on which helped us back into the game. I thought some of the tries we scored to get us within two we're out of this world stuff. Towards the end we had to force it a little and we had a few things go wrong, i.e Monas kick on the first for King and Solomona going off who was causing havoc. Wigan were clinical in their eventual execution of us. Proud of Wire today and gave us a little glimpse to the future. Silverwood was awful as per, but I expect no less. Tomkins is a world class player and by far the best english player in SL. Wigan are a champion side and would be a worthy winner of taking our title as challenge cup. Good luck over the next month and a bit.
:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_23997.jpg |

You can pull up with cramp at any time, doesn't have anything to do with fitness.
Liam Farrell pulled up with cramp last week against Quins, does that make him unfit?

Your assumption that because he had cramp, he isnt fit. Because no other player has ever got cramp?
Maguire seems to be impressed with his application and effort as of late. Ill take that over a few fans with an axe to grind.

Why don't you just boo him then? That seems the best response many can muster in regards to Pryce.
Some of the comments on here are foolish and pathetic to say the least.
I realise Pryce doing a solid job yesterday makes many on here look seriously foolish as they have waged a hate campaign against the guy but sadly for many he wasn’t the great failure many told us he would be.
Maybe it’s time people actually watched the game and not watch it with a not so hidden agenda.
I ask again apart from one mistake in the 2nd half what actually did he do wrong?
Did he mess up his one chance?-No
Did he let anyone past him in defence?-No
Was he willing to take the first drive up on our own line?-Yes
This thread should be locked as there is a little point to it. No matter what the guy does the fools on here won’t give him credit and will try to belittle any good things that he does do. All this thread is doing is giving the tools a chance to bag the guy for no reason

His salary hardly makes a difference. He has been injured for much of that time, his first year can be written off, as it was by IL himself.
Regardless of what went before. What did Pryce do wrong YESTERDAY in his first outing under Madge?

So that proves that you can get cramp at any time then, nothing to do with Pryce being unfit which is what you previously said
FWIW, Pryce didn't do anything spectacular. He took his try well and he also helped out from the back, I actually feel sorry for him because no matter what he does he'll always be a scapegoat.
