Crabtree should be in for griffin who shouldnt even be over there.
Goulding does not deserve to get dropped after that performance, why let your Hudderfield Bias get in the way and instead want England to play their best?

Fielden made 1 handling error and gave away 1 pen and you want him dropped?? glad you're not coach.
Griffin should be nowhere near an England jersey, Crabtree in for him maybe.
Goulding deserves to keep his place

griffin was solid enough...and had played better than crabtree this season. fielden gave away penalties and knocked on in the first half which helped nz go 10-0 up, silly ill discipline
im not being biased just dont think goulding had a good game.

As someone said he gave away one penalty and knocked on once, do you think that warrants being dropped? If so most of the team should be dropped.
And as for you not thinking Goulding had a good game.. You must have high expectations.

Who would you play at hooker then as surely Roby shouldn't be playing as he knocked on twice and then when you drop burgess for his knock on the pack is starting to look a bit light!

How anyone can say Goulding had a poor game and Briscoe was better is beyond me and is blatent bias.

No they didnt, Goulding barely got a kick, if any at all. They all went to Widdop. I even think more kicks went to Briscoe than Goulding. Talk about blatent lies.
Cudjoe didnt get picked, Goulding did, get over it

| Infact f*ck it, play all the Average Hudds players, send our boys home. Id rather them be enjoying a rest over here than being humiliated against Australia.

He barely got any kicks to him! he took the ball up loads and you saying he got put on his backside whilst doing so, his meters don't suggest that.
But yeah i'll just echo everyone elses sentiments, lets just play all the average huddersfield player instead.
the only player that shouldn't be there next week is griffin, with crabtree in instead and possibly widdop not at fullback, but we've got limited options.
The ref was a disgrace, not in terms of decisions or anything just his attitude towards the english players, 0 respect.

He also left his spot for the first try, leaving Shenton with too much ground to make up. But it was his debut so not to be too harsh on him.
Quote: brearley84 "but not the only one, widdop was not upto it either'"
Agreed. Tomkins should be at fullback next time out, regardless of how poor our halfback combo is without him (although it wasn't that much better with him!)
Quote: brearley84 "westwood, graham, ellis, robinson, s tompkins, shenton all showed up well'"
I agree. I also think Briscoe did very well. Roby in the second half was good too, though awful in the first.
Too many errors in the first half gave away copious amounts of possession and field position. Very poor defence from most players throughout. Graham was top dollar in defence and one or two others worked equally hard, but even Westwood, normally such a grafter in defence, decided to tickle the players rather than tackle them on too many occasions.
We looked very promising in the second half, which is unusual as that is normally when we collapse, but we need to (a) get rid of our errors - some of them are ridiculous; (b) defend because even when we had the numbers to cover we opted not to be bothered; (c) get a kicking game; (d) follow up - too many potential try-scoring offloads went unpassed because players were asleep, and (e) keep up 100% effort for the full 80 minutes. We can't do anything about the halfbacks so we have to make the best of what we have. But if we play as we played for about 15 minutes in the second half then we should have a fighting chance against the Aussies. After all, we did beat the Kiwis in the second half. We are capable, even with second/third choice halfbacks. But we have to remember we're in an international, not a friendly, and everyone has to put on their best performance rather than just a few.

Goulding didn't leave his spot, he had made the previous tackle (which probably saved a try at that point) and was stood at marker for the play the ball
