I think that’s our best performance of the season, the scoreline flattered Warrington but they could have a case for wanting the video ref to have had a closer look at O’Neil being offside and I thought Minikin got a try at the end. 3 great performances built from pure intensity after what was a mediocre at best start to the season, I’d be inclined to rest a few next Sunday, Hill, Nsemba, Forber and Sutton all to have a run out for me.

Not gonna lie, before each of the last 3 games i wouldn’t have backed us.

Made up with that. The guts and desire they’ve put in to these 3 games has made you proud to support them. We couldn’t got burnt on another night for letting them off the hook so many times. It was dominant throughout but we just lacked a bit of patience on their line.

I thought after the start we had and bombed chances it would come back to bite us but fair play the defence never let up even if we was scrappy in attack

The way he played was outstanding execution of a wonderful game plan by Peet.

He old manned the Wire big lads by just constantly keeping them honest.

Kassiano and Vaughn will be having nightmares about him for weeks.

I still don’t understand why a section of fans don’t appreciate just how good he has been..and still is for us.

Been a top quality signing. I just hope he walks away from the game with a clean bill of health as what he does week in week out for this team and the pressure he is putting on his body goes over and above his pay grade.

I said I'd be happy with 1/3. Absolutely tremendous trio of performances and stretching back even further - we're averaging one try conceded per game across the last 7/8 games.

Brutal defence and a brilliant kicking game - perfect wet weather qualities. Thought Warrington should have been awarded the try at the end but in truth it would have flattered them. They were dominated tonight and we really should have been 3 scores up at halftime.

Ellis, Havard, Miski, Isa and Smith all outstanding.

All the disallowed try at the end does is give them an excuse to blame the ref.

We outplayed them for the 75 of the 80 minutes. Brilliant game plan, slightly better execution and the score line would have been a lot more comfortable.

I thought it was Ellis’ best game in a Wigan shirt. Big raps for Miski, King, Havard and Isa. As for Harry Smith, I honestly didn’t think he had it in him but he is growing into an outstanding half.

He does the hard work that goes unnoticed at times but he is a tackling machine, can play big minutes and has a great injury record. A lot of the time he doesn’t make big meters but he’s in your face and can generate a quick PTB, for his size he punches well above his weight and I imagine he does the same in regards to his salary (educated guess), he’s a great player to have in a salary capped sport.

Miski is a solid winger who is great running the ball out, he’s a little barrel of muscle and makes good yards, he’s a great 3rd choice winger but I’m not sure he’s the best use of a quota space so presume he will be let go when his contract finishes?

Fair play on the win not the game I thought it would be, I took a lot you felt the need for the drop goal to make sure, we had chances and just was not at it tonight, still top and I think we still be next week so long as we lost no more players. Good turn out from your fans and hope there was no scrotes to spoil your journey hope.

Three great wins, and performances in a row. Energy and intensity has been tip top and got the rewards.

Look I'm sure every team is thinking similar sentiments currently, but best thing for me is I genuinely think there is loads more that can come from us. Few players out, and a fair bit still not clicking and sometimes not turning dominance into points. If we can just put the finishing touches to the standards we've been setting in recent weeks then oooof.
