I actually hope it doesn't work out anyway. although WB certainly has more than enough pedigree I don't really like how he is portrayed and how he is with the media. he'd be another excuse for everyone to hate us though, so that's a plus! |

In this weeks Observer Waney says he had taken a two thirds pay cut to be an assistant to Maguire, for two years he wasn't paid very much, does anyone think Edwards would drop to such a low salary to be an assistant?

In Zacs latest interview in the Yorkshire Post he says that he pleaded with Cas to keep him and he offered to work for the minimum wage till his ban was up. Cas said no.
He seems to forget what he's said in other interviews. |

That’s weird. Why would he have a pay cut for what was a big promotion? Wasn’t he U21s coach before? Hardly a big money position. |

As I remember it SW was not a full time employee of Wigan his main employment being a fairly senior management position with Tarmac. This was why he took a large pay cut to become Assistant Coach and maybe a reason he is widely regarded as having good man management skills.

This is one reason I would NOT want him at Wigan.
He's got a face like a smacked a**e and a permanent shoulder stoop from the size of the chip that sits on it.
I'm not saying that can't be rectified - and I'm not saying he isn't good at what he does - but when he's lost, he's one of the worst sulkers in the competition. |
