If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.:icons39ad_files/4821-1859san_c-msnicons.jpg |

Would that be the Huddersfield team currently at the top of the table? Must be an OK side, or do you expect to win every game...

| Not so sure Wane needs to go, but you do have at ask the question, why so early in the season do we need to rest players?
Most players are only just getting into full match fitness, we should have played full strength, rest players against Widnes at home.
Mistake today, but hopefully he will learn.
Could be worse, could be helens.

It's only a very small minority calling for a dismissal, which is an overreaction, and, no, I think that Nobby (bless him) will not be coming back.
Congratulations for your result at HKR.'"
Thank's. Ido believe however that a coach is paid to make decisions in the best interests of
the team. The proof of the pudding will come at the end of the season. i'm sure that Wigan will be
there come Grand Final day. Look at Leeds last year.

| Are we going to get threads calling for Wane's head every time we lose? I would love to know what he has done to deserve the stick he has got so far from some posters and I dont know why the players are always blameless when we lose and instead it is always down to Wane. Regardless of the team, and whether the spine of the team was missing or not, we still scored 36 points which should have been more than enough to beat Widnes. It was not Wane who missed tackles or gave the ball away needlesly.
Youngsters have been blooded and gained valuable experience which could be crucial later in the season. Crucial players have also been rested which could make a difference with important games and the Easter period coming up. If Tomkins and O'Loughlin had played today and got injured then the same posters calling for Wanes head would have been winging that Wane didnt rest them. Sometimes I do despair at some of our fans on here.

| Is it really the case that every time Wigan lose a game, certain fans are going to demand Shaun Wane's resignation? No doubt these will be the same people who used to slag Whelan off for chopping and changing coaches all the time.
Threads like this are too embarrassing for words.

| the team have been worrying about facing the might of Ah Van all week, good job he wasn't playing today or the score line would of most certainly been worse for us, thank the man upstairs for small mercies

| I agree that he clearly showed no respect to the opposition but Madge was guilty of that on occasion too as is every Coach for example 2009 (Noble) we got beat by Crusaders because we expected to win after we won comfortably at home and the games under Madge against Cas and Bradford shows all coaches are guilty and all teams are guilty of showing no respect and easing off.
This is a blip and remember we are usually the team that get beaten in the upset like this maybe its something that Wigan cant get away from we underestimate/disrespect the opposition on occasion but you can bet next week we will be back as strong as ever.

23997_1287161421.jpg
Great game of rugby league. Fantastic atmosphere, Wigan were breathtaking and dominant in all areas for the first 25 minutes, coupled with us making alot of dumb mistakes, then fortunately they brought McIlorum on which helped us back into the game. I thought some of the tries we scored to get us within two we're out of this world stuff. Towards the end we had to force it a little and we had a few things go wrong, i.e Monas kick on the first for King and Solomona going off who was causing havoc. Wigan were clinical in their eventual execution of us. Proud of Wire today and gave us a little glimpse to the future. Silverwood was awful as per, but I expect no less. Tomkins is a world class player and by far the best english player in SL. Wigan are a champion side and would be a worthy winner of taking our title as challenge cup. Good luck over the next month and a bit.
:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_23997.jpg |

| If Sam,Pat or Tommy played yesterday we would have won we just lacked that extra spark in attack
Wane made his bed let him lie in it

| Yep, you'd looked the form team in the league up until now, but hey, you lost one game while resting players.
Not only should you sack Wane but you should sack every player who played. And Tomkins. Definitely sack him. Immediately. For not playing. While Leeds still have some cap space.
Failing that, some knee pads for the OP to prevent injury from the underside of his/her desk.
