I for one would only play him until we have our players back, would rather give our players the experience of another season of playoff rugby, then your youngsters.'"
So you'd rather play a worse line up?

Charnley has been somewhat of a revelation for us and his current form should, in my opinion, result in him keeping his place until such time that Jake Webster is fit.
However, we also have a duty of care to him and the Wigan club not to over play him at this early stage of his career. The first signs of real mental or physical fatigue should see him taken out of the firing line for his own and Wigans long term benefit.
Would love to see him on a longer term loan with Rovers next season but cant see it happening now that he has shown what he can do at the highest level.

Wouldnt say its a worse line up, more experienced players for us during the playoffs over lads with none for me; we proved it last season that you need some settled heads.

I would rather play him in the threequarters than Sam Latus, who despite doing a commendable job isnt as good as Charnley.

But it would do Sam the world of good to get that experience; we havent got a cats chance of landing Charnley after this season.

Do you think that all clubs should now stop picking players who wont be plying their trade there next season?
A head coaches job is to put a sucessful side onto the park. Along the way youngsters should be blooded i agree but ultimately a coach is judged by the first team results. At the minute i would say that Rovers have a better chance of gaining results with Josh Charnley in the side.

Are you Noble in disguise?
If they're good enough, they're old enough.

| Charnley is to stay at Hull KR until the end of the regular season. Wigan can recall him at 24 hours notice and he won't be allowed to play against us when we visit in two weekends time.

Interesting that it's only to the end of the regular season. Hull KR will make the playoffs so will he not be allowed to play in them? Would be shame for Charnley to miss out on getting playoff experience, especially as he's played a big part in their recent good run of form

| Maybe there is a rule whereby a player can only play for one club in the play offs & GF same as a player can only play for one club in the C Cup.
Don't know if that's the case just summising!
