This is almost unbelievably prescient!
You are like Nostradamus - give or take a couple of details.

| Well done posters, Tomkins & Eastmond were the key figures tonight, remarkable given the talent out there, these 2 aren't just stepping up to the plate, they're becoming the difference in games. Thought Tomkins was class tbh, best player on the park tonight. Thank god for Eastmond, noone else was going to break your line

Lets hope these two carry on to develop as they are now and perform together for England.

The feeling when Wigan score, everybody going berserk, swaying 10 feet either side, hugging randoms. Nothing beats it.
You can shove yer playoffs. Give me a win at Knowsley Road anyday

| Tomkins and Eastmond are players with great potential and could both be stars on the international stage.
Unfortunately though to take on Australia and NZ we are going to need some world class forwards, three quarters and a full-back to play alongside our two brilliant half-backs.... we are looking desperately short of world class talent at the moment.

| Can those half-backs really command a game though? Thought Eastmond was a rabbit caught in the headlights on occasion tonight, although a lot of that can be put down to a massive lack of protection from his forwards, especially on the last tackle.
Fair play to Tomkins though, certainly a stand out player behind a pack that bossed the game IMO.

Ouch, how ironic.
Still, Tomkins was immense tonight for you guys, you were the better side IMO. Great game.
