And I actually agree with this as well, something is going wrong here.
Campese did very little in attack, I don't see him as a big game player.

I am really at a loss as to why you are directing your comments at me pertaining to Soward. I have not even mentioned him! I have made reference to Inglis and Jamie Lyon!
I am really rather bemused now. You did compare yourself with Wayne Bennet in a previous post so I will take it you are suffering from some sort of delusional episode.
Your response to my comment vis-a-vis Greg Inglis and Jamie Lyon make little, if any, logical sense.'"
My apologies Boris I thought you were pointing towards another post regards Soward, i read it wrong.
Regards Inglis he was carrying too much weight at the start of the year, it was noticed by a good few pundits and raised with him, the quality of his performances did suffer in many eyes down to it. He of late looks much leaner than he did at the start of the year especially up top and i think his performances have improved to coincide with that.

I would put the change in form down to Inglis moving back into the centre position rather than being utilsed as a stand off. Finch's recuirtment to the Storm has alllowed Inglis to move back into the centre where he is best played.

Well he is only young. Second the Queensland defence for the first 55 minutes were so quick into the faces of the NSW players, giving little time for the halves to work.

That is true. He has had slow development throughout the start of his career, maybe his path to greatness is a little different than most Aussie stars!

Which highlights the problems/flaws with the rules.

Correct, but isn't it ridiculous that he can pick and choose his team for the world cup depending on whether the Aussies select him?

| No, but it is ridiculous that once he's made his decision to play for a country, that he's allowed to switch later on. Eligibility isn't the problem, it's actually a good thing. It's what happens after that that's the problem.

Totally agree with this. I think that maybe people should perhaps be allowed to switch once in their career, maybe due to feeling more at home in a particular new country, but they should declare their alligiance to that country before the initial squads are announced. I suppose the danger in this is countries like Fiji, Tonga, Samoa won't then get access to players like Hayne, Jennings because they'll declare their intention to play for Aus rather than the smaller nations.
Am I correct in saying that State of Origin games will only feature players who'll play for Aus?

No, Adrian Lam played for Queensland and he only played for PNG. They also asked Adrian Morley to play, but he refused.
Its the best against the best, and I'm sure its the first place you live in Australia that represents who you can play for (for example, Morley settled in Sydney, therefore he could have been selected for New South Wales).
