You could compare them for their loyalty and longevity to one club which is not something you could accuse any half backs from Wigan of! |

To be fair you can't really argue Briers is a 6 and not a 7. Over the majority of the last few years at Warrington we haven't played with a conventional half-back system but more Briers on the right side and Wood/Sulliva/Monaghan etc on the left.
There hasn't really been a distinction between the two (at Warrington and a few other teams) and hence a comparison is clearly reasonable.

No it was just good tactics. Tomkins is a rugby player not a footy player, and 'roughing up' an opponent for the sake of psychological advantage is hardly outside the rules of the game.
