Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league

Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate

the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever

Long is not the best anymore at all although he was for a very long time.
Dobson can organise a team just as well, he also has a better kicking game atm, he is far quicker than long, from what I have seen this season his hands are much better, Long has thrown our many poor balls.
Dobson is a much better player than Long IMO.
Myler from what I have seen has outplayed Long this season, on the attacking side of things and creativity, maybe not organisation but he is still young. |

But Long is available, I dont know why you keep mentioning Dobson, fair enough he's a good player but he's happy were he is. Long is a born, proven winner. He's naturally a quality RL player, Long would improve our team by a mile, we havn't got an organiser at all, nor have we got a player who is capable of breaking the line. Like I have just read on the Saints site, do you think we would have had all them sets on Warrington's line without scoring if we had Long? He's lost a bit of pace, thats it. He's still capable of ripping defence's apart, and you can say what you like about him, he'd love to play for his home town club, he's a Wigan lad. |

Im mentioning Dobson because you said Long was the best 7 in super league, but he is not anymore, Dobson is. Long would be a step up I agree but we could have a bigger one signing afew other players, players who are also available. |

In your opinion he is. Personally I dont think he can open up defences like Long can.
Your correct, Long would be a step up, and a big one, costing us half the price of someone like Thurston, Lockyer...or any other Aussies Wigan fans are dreaming of signing. |

If Dobson is THAT good, why is playing in SL at such a young age, if he was THAT good, an australian club wouldn't let him go so young. |

The best scrum half in superleague is Dobson but after that Long is right up there.
My top 5 about at the moment would probably be-
Dobson
Myler(will be head and shoulders the best in time)
Long
Burrow
Leuluai
