The Fielden myth.

Fielden is making more metres per carry than Peacock.

However his defence needs to improve.

I'll bet his 7.2 metres per carry is up there worth most of the top props.

I've said this before Fielden is nowhere near as bad a many on here make him out to be.

got to ask yourself the question though of why is fielden making so many less carries than peacock, even though he's played a game more?

Hunt-Pat/Amos won't leave, would want mega bucks, probably end up in union
Lockyer-Near enough completed his contract extension
Logan-probably retire, doubt he would come back anyway
Ross-had a serious injury, debatable whether he will ever get back to top form, could be a possibility though (due to the serious injury bit )
Orford-too old, we'd get 2 years out of him at most, you often talk about building a winning side but for that we need to have the same pair of half backs for more than 2 seasons, could see him siging though
FFMM-extremely doubtful that he would get a visa, can't see it happening anyway
Petero-somebody above has stated that he wants to take up his option of a year longer with the Panthers, pretty sure I've read that too
Poore-young with a rep career ahead of him so would only come over for big money and IL wouldn't spend the amount he would want
Minichello-injury prone, seen better days, Pat or Amos won't leave

Thought I would add some reality to things

Sorry pal but the same things been done to me before so I know how you feel

Myler-I would love to have Myler but only if we got 2 props to make the pack stronger because if he played for us at the moment him and Sam would look really poor because of such a weak pack. However contract only runs out at the end of 2010 but I could see IL making a sneaky bid for him
Ferriol-I'm sure he signed a new contract at the end of last season but I could be wrong, would have him at Wigan with another house prop
LMS-Contracted for next season but I could see him as a replacement for Fielden for 2011
Dobson-again contracted for next season and with things actually looking up for Hull KR I can't see him coming back to Wigan at least till the end of his contract and we would have to offer him some pretty serious money as well.
Briscoe-not off contract is he? Pat or Amos won't leave and I think he has already burned his bridges with Wigan

Karl Pryce making over 10 metres a carry (shame he's only had 19) so I suppose you could apply the same knowledge to him then
