Sorry but all these garish shirts don't take away the fact that Wigan have missed out on a possible HUGE market this year. With IL stating at the forums that he would like us to generate more income I'm sure he will realise that somebody has dropped a huge bollock. Has anyone thought about a one off shirt for the WCC? maybe a chance to recoup some lost revenue, not a lot of time left but surely worth a try.

No but i saw a extremely large fella trying one on in the Shop on Xmas Eve. It wasnt very flattering!

if they were to do a 1 off WCC shirt wouldnt it make more sense to have it just made for the players and then if we win put it on general sale. would give more time to produce the replicas and we could also wear it as a "finals" shirt if/when we reach CC/GF. I don't mind watching wigan play weekly in a pink shirt but i definately wouldnt like to see us lift a trophy in pink

I must say that I feel a bit let down by the clubs lack of response to this matter, even if it had been a negative response to the fans concern. I genuinely thought after hearing IL at the forums that the fans input was going to be important, to be honest it just seems to have been a smokescreen.
