Being a glory hunter could have been leveled at me 18 years ago - but I hardly think that stands in our current situation. I have only joined this board recently - but I am one of the longest serving current members on the independent Wigan fan's forum.
I wasn't referring to the inappropriate remarks that were made by some immediately following the defeat and considering how holier than thou some posters have been I probably should have said so - but hey; don't let that ruin your agenda or portraying all Wigan fans as blood thirsty thugs and all Leeds fans sportsman like gentlemen. It's funny because when Ablett nearly decapitated Tomkins earlier in the season; I seem to remember that it went down pretty well with the Leeds faithful...
I'll be a happy pie eater whatever the result tonight. We've had a good season and next season looks like being even better. It will be interesting to see how many fans from the rhinos disappear if they don't win anything this year and have a poor start next year. You've already lost your mantle as best supported club...

I've said else where that I expect either HKR to edge a close game, or you to spank them. Their best bet is to grind you out up the middle and use the impressive kicking game of Dobson and Murrell. Four props for you will go a long way to holding this game plan.
Their foresome of Vella, Clinton, Lovegrove and Wheeldon is not to be sniffed at. They also have a pretty tough back row as well. |

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

You get the odd few probably to much to drink no excuse though well done to Wigan though you deserved the victory tonight and the other 3 and half thousand rovers fans who turned up behaved, problenm is FC are used to having fans ejected almost every week. And just ignore pmh he is a nutter.......... believe me think they call it pre menstrual headache  good luck for rest of the play offs |
