As Wane brought most of the current first team youngsters through, i think he has some idea what he is doing

In the forces you are beasted straight away, you are pushed to your limits to see where those limits are. If you haven't got the mentality or fight for it then you don't make it. You are either thrown out or you walk out. The guys who spend good careers in the forces come out well educated and drilled men. (apart from the poor lads who get depression whom the government like to ignore, but that's another topic)

What i am saying is, You need to be pushed to breaking point to realise your potential.

All rugby players think they are tough men at all levels. Well to step up to the ultimate you need to prove it. Any player that shy's away simply isn't in the Wigan mould and will find themselves at Widnes.

its not as if they are actual kids is it. they will be in the 17+ age range (most of them). i know when i was that age i would have turned out a lot better if i had had a good beasting

To have these under 19's in the firing line is just wrong.

I don't know in what context this was said and how he can get onto such a subject to make such comments.
