| Quote Grimmy="Grimmy"Who is likely to play centre there? Cudjoe + ? Are Atkins and Ratchford injured/in poor form? I don't know what Danny Brough has to do to get picked, or why we're still picking Adrian Morley for international friendlies at 36 years of age. I'm sure McManara doesn't even watch Super League and just picks the same guys he picked when he took over as coach. The only players missing from the usual are Wilkin and Ablett.'"
Carl Ablett is out with a hand injury, don't worry McBanana will get him in the world cup squad ready to embarrass fellow "centre" Greg Inglis.

He can't help but score with Wilkin punching holes in the defence and Chase feeding him quality ball

| The selection doesnt surprise me one bit.
Brough should be in there without a shadow of a doubt.
Danny Houghton should be in there - his form has been brilliant, he was at the heart of Hulls win against Leeds and Burrow did nothing but hes still picked?
For me, Sinfield wouldnt be anywhere near an England shirt. Hes a decent player, but massively overrated. Hes not a stand off for a starter and hes not as good as O'Loughlin at loose forward.
Chase shouldnt be in that team - purely because hes not English.
If we go with Sinfield and Chase for the world cup, we will get our s handed to us.

| Am i reading it correctly on here but are people seriously suggesting Danny Brough for the national team? People really want to put a player who's only real attribute is kicking the ball up against the Aussies?
He falls into the Lee Briers category of a big fish in a small pond but NEVER international class.

We seem fine with doing exactly that with Sinfield!

Sinfield isn't the answer but he's a dam sight better player and person to have in your team than Brough ever will be.
ATEOTD Sinfield has played a pivotal role at HB in a Leeds team that have won numerous BIG games and GF trophies. If it's a straight shoot out between the two then there's not much competition really and Sinfield wins by a wide margin.
Now if you want to speak about other possible contenders such as Widdop or Tomkins in the halves i'd be happy to oblige but let's leave the stupid talk of Brough being international class to the Hudds fans.

| Brough is far more an International player than McNamara is an International coach, that's the real problem for me.

| funny people used to say the same thing about the state of origin now look at it... sometimes i hate the RFL then other times i feel sorry for them, every man and hes dog came out saying why the hell aren't we warming up with an exile type concept and now a few years down the line its pointless? some fans will never be happy FACT.
