| Way to up the crowd for this gameEveryone who attends the semi final gets prioty for final tickets (should their respective teams win).
Makes me sick that people will b3 sat at home, watching on tele waiting to go on the SL website should we win to get the best tickets or will be at the front of the que in the morning decked out in cherry and white, acting like diehard fans.

This!!!! Im a season ticket holder but at last years challenge cup I struggled to get tickets...1 I was punished for living out of the area and the club not selling tickets over the phone!!! And 2. All the tv fans being first in queue when I did finally manage too get to the ticket office!!!
If we do get to the final I expect the same!!!

I struggled to fork out for a season ticket, at the minute I cant afford to be paying 20 quid for a ticket a week before I (provided we win) need to be forking out £40 + for a gf ticket and transport to OT. I have no choice but to be watching it at home. does that make you sick? Why do people start crying about people who can't always go to matches and would rather watch on sky? people have familys to provide for and bills to pay.it is a lot of money and not everyone's fortunate enough to have the time or money to make Wigan RL their number one priority in life. there'll no doubt be fair weather fans turning up if we get to old trafford but isn't that the case the world over? If you have a season ticket you will have no problem getting a final ticket anyway so why start calling for semi final attendee's to get priority? what about the people who have watched every home game in the regular season but don't have the money to be paying for 3 matches in 4 weeks?

| The low crowds are perhaps due to a lot of people feeling the play offs are a week too long. The first two games between us and Catalans and Wire v Saints were in effect friendlies. Win or lose and you're still in the comp.
They should go with the top eight and 1 v 8, 2 v 7 etc. First week four games and all knockout. Second week two games of semi finals with the third week for the final. I just think if every game mattered then fans are more likely to turn up than if they don't matter.
Finance is a large part of it. Families have to budget and paying for four rugby games in a month isn't part of anyone's finances if they are regular supporters as they have season tickets.
Trouble is the people who make the decisions don't pay to watch so they are out of touch with us fans.

| I have work commitments Friday so I'm unable to make it.
However I'll be buying my Grand Final tickets at the weekend from the website whether we make the Grand Final or not.
If people are bothered about struggling to get a ticket then just buy one from the RFL, they have plenty! Even if we don't make it, it is still a great spectacle and one of the reasons why I've been to every final since 1996.

| To be fair to a lot of fans they may have to make a choice due to money, this week or next week and in that circumstance many will watch on tv in the hope of a next week as they would rather miss a semi than a final.
It is the sad times we live in that is driving this. We live in a tough economic climate and may people simply dont have £100 spare cash in a month to attend a rugby games. This is the reason crowds are down.
Many of those fans will have to pay up to £250 for a season ticket in a months time. Others will have been to wembley 6 weeks ago. To attend Wembley, play off's, grand final and then purchase the season ticket some fans could face an outlay of around £500 on rugby games in a 10 week period. That is a big ask in any families budget, let alone if more than 1 member of the family attends.

| In any times there will always be people who can't afford to go but the RFL aren't exactly limiting that with this set up. They're milking the fans as much as they can with an 8 team play off system and to top it off now leave just a couple of weeks between the challenge cup final and the start of the play offs.
The people running the sport are killing it at the minute. It's simple in my mind, move back to a top 6 play off system, move the cup back to May and don't go accepting magic beans for sponsorship deals!
I could make those decisions for free!

| A lot might pay on the day.
A good number of people who get paid monthly will get paid on the 28th of the month.

| The weather might put a few off, especially if travelling is required.
As I type, Saddle Junction is currently closed and all Wigan bound traffic is being re-directed down Poolstock Lane causing massive queues.

Hopefully, it should improve over the next 48 hours

As season tickets holders have priority, that's clearly not the case.
