I agree with that, England v Aus just isn't the same.
IMO rugby league peaked around 1990-1994, the GB v Aus clashes in that period were intense. Somehow we went to around the time SL came in and never really recovered to the same standard whilst the Aussies maintained it. |

Try and get a DVD of the 1962 Ashes Tour, arguably the best GB side ever (Boston, McTigue, Huddart, Murphy etc), and an Australian side littered with legends of their game,(Gasnier, Raper etc), you'll be surprised at the quality and speed of the game,then again,maybe you have already seen this and I'm wasting my time !!!!  |

Catalans v London. They hate each other. I heard that was why there was a police presence there on Sunday as they expected trouble between these two. Didn't dissappoint either with baguettes and jellied eels being thrown everywhere.
