The kicking game was better than normal, no doubt. When was the last time Wigan kicked a 40/20? Still needs work in my opinion but as Finch settles in the side he'll be able to dictate the play more through his kicking, and we know Leuluai CAN have a good kicking game when he wants too (don't shoot me down!).

The chase let the kicking down last night in my opinion. Some good kicks were put through but without a solid chase - what's the point in a good kick?

Hansen put in a better kick last night than we get from Tommy most weeks.

So does Leuluai just choose to kick it straight down the throat of the full back then?

The lad CAN put a good kick in, that was my point. He's just highly, highly inconsistent when it comes to kicking.

I thought it was still poor tbh one 40/20 doesn't equate a good kicking game
it's all well and good to say we found the floor but make a ball bounce once 5m infront of were the fullback was stood so he can take it the sprint isn't good enough you need to turn him around

and I thought finch was to bring us a kickin game apart from his try we never give it to him

I disagree, he is a consistant kicker, consistently poor.

I thought it was pretty crap again last night. I mean didn't help that we were constantly kicking from within our own half, but that's another thing.

Apart from the 40/20 it was as usual - rubbish.

It is the one area of the game Wigan RL are consistently bad at and have been for several seasons.

Pretty lacklustre the kicking game down thier throughts all night, we are missing the pig this year any thoughts ?

I thought that one of the main benefits of the arrival of Finch was meant to be that he had a good long kicking game. I certainly didnt see any evidence of it at all last night and dont even recall him having any long distance kicks.

We have not had a really good kicking game since Dobson. Barrett was good but not as good as Dobson.
