That is a great start. There are 3 major points coming that could see a further surge Christmas with people buying for xmas presents, The end of the ability to pay via the timeout plan that finishes on the 30 Dec and the release of the fixtures. I know people who are waiting for the release to see if it is worth taking on the season tickets even though I do remind them about the ticket exchange.
Can see us selling another 2-3000 before the start of the season giving in excess of 11000 sason tickets which will be phenomel

No it's not, it's 8000 sold in total inc those who are renewing and those who have bought one this year but didn't last.
That means that all those who haven't bought renewals may still do so? Plus any New buyers will add to the total.

As others have said, given that there are still a couple of weeks to go till the arly bird prices run out plus Xmas sales etc I think it's fantastic news.

Well I know two people out there who were both season ticket holders last season who have not (as yet) renewed for one reason or another. They will eventually though.

Great news.. The only thing I don't like is that more fans = longer bar queues

There's probably a lot of existing South ST holders yet to renew as they didn't have to secure their seat before last Friday. Could be plenty more piling in before the Early Bird deadline

I know people that havnt renewed who sit in south stand as they say its only £10/20 extra if you didnt buy it before friday.

I reckon it's the flags that are the reason for the increase.

2 to 3 weeks for written confirmation of your season ticket if you have just signed up (non renewal).

The West is the best

just ooked back on the official web site for season ticket news posted 28/10/2005 where it is heralding a 113% increase in season tickets from October 04 to October 05 (only 5 years ago). At that stage in October 05 we had sold over 2500 tickets.
Just goes to show what a great start this is
