| I have to admit that my first reaction to that video referee decision was it should have been zero tackle for Wigan. Will be interesting to hear about this one!

| Nice to see a referee take control of things and actually penalise offending teams for once rather than watching 80 minutes of infringements, maybe the teams will take note eventually.

| Good to know everyone still hates Wigan; lose a game the trolls are out.

I agree a lot of the penalties he gave were the right decisions, but I think there was a couple of shockers in there that changed the game. I think the sin bin was very harsh, he was in the air by the time the ball was kicked and the contact was less than that of a tackle. And the kick which smith knocked on should have been our ball but the VR went crazy.

| Some of our own play was a bit dumb today. Tomkins should never have been tackled mid kick - poor protection/play on our part, and it wasn't the first time our play the balls were shoddy...

I agree with regards to the sin bin, decisions like that could go either way though and you nearly scored during that 10 minute period. Wasn't paying much attention to the video referee decision so can't really comment but I think isolating 2 incidents in a game where over 20 penalties were conceeded is grasping at straws somewhat.

Absolute joke of a decision, I can't believe refereeing standards are so inept that they can even screw up an easy decision using video evidence. I sometimes despair at this sport I love.

| Gutted. I don't mind when decisions balance out, but we were the better team and sht decisions ultimately cost us dearly.
Farrell. Committed to the block - had already jumped and was in the air when McGuire kicked. How is he supposed to pull out? Wigan down to 12.
Senior. Accidental or not, he's kicked out. Joel has to go off, Senior plays on.
Peacock. Ok, this happens a lot - a player steps inside and the defender throws out an arm. But he also swings with his other arm - two high shots in one tackle. Try scoring opportunity gone.
Video ref decision - turnover?? How is it a turnover when Smith has touched the ball - and knocked it on?? It's either a knock on or held up over the line. Wigan denied a set on Leeds' line.
Shame, because I had thought Bentham was doing ok early doors.

| This was the biggest game of the round and Bentham is not a big game referee.
He proved that by his VR decisions in the Cup Final and Grand Final last year.
He was not up to it today!

| I couldnt believe it when it said handover on the screen.
Smith clearly knocked on, and sam kept possesion so why wasn't it another set to wigan?
why are they even called 50/50 decisions? because wigan certainly didnt get their fair share today.
