| Quote: TonyM19 "Don't know if any of you have ever seen any episodes of this. Its usually football players from the 70s/80s reminiscing about their team. There's just been an advert for a new series and it showed some cricket teams and (more importantly) Shaun Edwards lifting a Challenge Cup. Looks like Wigan might get a run out on one of the episodes. Edwards, Offiah + 1?'"
Bloody hell, has someone from SKY been reading my posts?
I mentioned (only a couple of months ago) that a RL version of 'Time of our Lives' would make a superb series !!

| Can only assume its a programme about the 8 in a row cup run, the description is a vague just saying "Wigan Warriors". The series also features discussions on the 1981 Grand National, Welsh Rugby Union in the 70s, Keith Deller's 1983 World Darts victory, Hockey victory in 1988 Olympics, Ryder Cup Golf and 1970s Wrestling.

| Not quite the same but on BBC4 Tuesday night from 9pm there are rugby league programmes -
9 til 10 is Eddie Waring - Mr Rugby League;
10 to 10.30 The game that got away - RL documentary
10.30 - midnight Challenge cup classis 1978 final Leeds v Saints
0.00 to 2.10 This sporting Life film about rugby league player
Just realised Bilko will no doubt have this mentioned elsewhere so sorry if I am repeating old info but having typed all this I will post it now anyway!

| Nice to see the game, and Wigan in partcular getting some more national TV coverage outside of the live games.

| In THIS SPORTING LIFE, Richard Harris gets his teeth knocked out during a violent cup game. May interest you all to know that the match action for that sequence was filmed at a Wakefield v Wigan match.

Will it be in black and white seeing as Old Rogues was in attendance? He'll probably have it somewhere actually on his betamax
