| I’m not usually one to moan about ticketing but ‘digital season tickets’ seems extremely pathetic. Using the guise of environmental impact when we all know it’s a cost saving to the P&L is a bit condescending.
And yes I did read that you can pay a fiver to get a physical season ticket which is proof that it’s a commercially driven decision.

| I looked at the Leigh model of different levels of membership and wondered if it was something we’d ever implement but this is going further away from that.
I bought the little one a season ticket for the first time. Now she’s not really bothered about rugby anyway but it seems a bit sad that people need to pay a fiver to get a kid their first physical season ticket as an example. It’s just the way the worlds going I suppose.

| I buy three season tickets and even though they are all in separate names come from the same “account” i.e. my email address. Would like to know how this would work?

The FAQ below should explain it.
Can I buy tickets for my friends and family?
Yes. ‘My Network’ is a feature of your online account which allows you to manage the accounts of friends or family members. You can add up to 20 members to your online network. Once a supporter has been added to your account, you will be able to purchase tickets on their behalf, subject to availability. If a supporter gives you full management rights over their account, you will also be able to purchase ticketing products which have been reserved in their name (e.g. reserved cup tickets). More information on how to use ‘My Network’ will be released in due course

If they have to be in my phone how would it work trying to get through the turnstiles or what if I’m missing for a particular match how do the others get in.. I’m sure it’s been thought about but those faqs don’t answer it.

I’m wondering about that for individual match tickets.I’ve got 6 tickets for Penrith and a few will be in the pub pre match and a couple will want to meet us inside.

| All looks ok guess we see how it works.
I also get the young fan and something physically existing for them, maybe some kind of welcome pack for jnr tickets bought would be a good idea with different packs age dependant, I would think the club would want to encourage and engage new young fans? I know when we have bought group tickets digitally in the past that you can hold multiple tickets on one phone or send them individually to other devices I would imagine this will be the same process. I think it if anything will be or should be user friendly ticket transfer or adding to you're group for individual tickets looks already catered for.

Mentions here about setting up seperate accounts even if you use the same email address, refers to childrens tickets, so suspect the same for any bought under one email address
What is the functionality of the new platform for buying multiple tickets on one email address, disabled and carers tickets?
The system will offer accessible tickets online as well as digital print-at-home and mobile tickets. Users can have as many accounts under one email address and each member will have a unique client ref to identify and assign tickets to other people within the network to speed up the booking process. There will also be additional features such asWe understand that many fans use the same email for children’s accounts, here we ask the fans to set unique passwords to access each separate account.

| Personally no problem with this, but what about the oldies amongst us who might not have an email address, let alone a phone (yes, they do exist).
And, car parking ?

| For those wondering about the transfer of tickets, my football club have been using ticketmaster for years.
My last 3 season tickets have been on my phone.
If/when I can’t make it, I just ‘share’ the ticket (from my phone ‘wallet’) the same way I share a photo in any other walk of life - WhatsApp/email etc.
I’ve not made the last 3 or 4 home matches and sent on the ticket to a different person each time to use on the relevant day.
Requires some trust I suppose.
I wouldn’t send them to anyone I don’t know in case they tried to use again in the future and arrived at the ground before I did, and scanned before I did.
But if you’re questions surround sending tickets on which had been purchased in bulk or sending the odd ST on to be used in your absence, it’s all very easy.
